Drum Stand & Reel Winders
Drum Stand for overhead stringing
Thanks to its easy transportability and capacity to install conductor drums without the need of a crane this design is the most popular amongst transmission line contractors worldwide. With the drum shaft being inserted conductor drums can be rolled into the drum stand and then lifted with two manually operated hydraulic jacks. Once in operating position, the drum shaft will be rested on a mechanical holding device, so that the hydraulic jacks are freed from any constant load. The drum stand (DST) is equipped with two disk brakes for stationery purposes. For the most efficient operation, we highly recommend the use of hydraulic drum-drive motors.

Reel Winder
This is a simple reel winder without a drive unit to feed out pulling ropes. It has a robust steel frame with anchoring eye bolts, hot-dip galvanized. It allows quick and easy loading and unloading of reels, dismountable for reduced transport dimensions.

Hydraulic Reel Winder
The hydraulic reel winder, compatible with standard steel reels, is powered by either a ZECK machine or a ZECK hydraulic power unit. It features manually operated hydraulic cylinders equipped with a plug-in axle, facilitating swift and effortless loading and unloading of reels.
